Hub’s acquisition march continues

The broking giant Hub International Limited has announced its acquisition of the assets of California-based AVI Commercial Insurance Marketing (AVI). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
AVI provides insurance services for the hospitality industry, including sports bars, nightclubs, taverns and restaurants. The acquisition will bolster Hub’s hospitality and entertainment specialty practices by complementing and strengthening their existing capabilities.
Doug Krumpols, president of AVI, and his team will join Hub Los Angeles/Orange County.

The acquisition is the latest in Hub’s ongoing M&A spree. Earlier this week, the company announced the acquisition of Kornerstone, another California-based firm. Last month, Hub snapped up Raffa Financial Services, a Maryland-based firm.
