Ketu South MP Commissions Six-Unit Classroom Block at Avoeme

Avoeme, Volta Region β€” The Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has commissioned a six-unit classroom block at Avoeme as part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure and create a better learning environment for pupils in the municipality.

The newly commissioned facility is expected to provide additional classroom space for pupils and teachers, helping to address infrastructure challenges and support effective teaching and learning.

As part of her commitment to improving education in the constituency, the MP also announced plans to distribute approximately 3,000 additional school desks to 16 basic schools in Ketu South.

The initiative is intended to improve access to basic educational facilities and provide pupils with a more comfortable environment for their studies.

The provision of classroom blocks and furniture remains an important part of efforts to strengthen basic education, particularly in communities where overcrowding and inadequate furniture can affect teaching and learning.

The development is expected to benefit pupils, teachers and the wider Avoeme community, while supporting the broader goal of improving educational standards across the Ketu South Municipality.

Stakeholders are hopeful that continued investment in school infrastructure and learning materials will help improve educational outcomes and create better opportunities for children in the area.
