The Ho Municipal Assembly has announced plans to establish a public College of Education at Hodzo, a move expected to expand access to teacher education and create new opportunities for young people in the municipality.
The proposed institution would become the first public College of Education in the Ho Municipality, providing residents and students from surrounding communities with greater access to tertiary-level teacher training without having to travel far outside the area.
The initiative forms part of broader development efforts aimed at strengthening education and human capital development within the municipality.
Proposed College to Boost Teacher Education
The establishment of the College of Education at Hodzo is expected to contribute to the training of qualified teachers who can serve schools in the Ho Municipality and other parts of the Volta Region.
