KLEFE, HO MUNICIPALITY — September 11, 2026: Traditional leaders and elders of Klefe in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region have appealed to investors and relevant authorities to support the development of the community’s tourism and stone-winning sectors.
The chiefs believe increased investment in these areas could contribute significantly to the economic development of Klefe while creating employment and business opportunities for local residents.
Klefe, located in the Ho Municipality, has natural and cultural attractions that the traditional authorities believe could be better developed and promoted to attract visitors and investors.
The chiefs are therefore calling for greater attention to the community’s tourism potential, particularly through investments that can improve infrastructure, promote local attractions and create opportunities for residents to participate in the tourism value chain.
They also highlighted the potential of the stone-winning sector, which remains an important economic activity in parts of the area. According to the traditional authorities, responsible investment in the sector could generate jobs and support local businesses while contributing to development in the community.
However, they are expected to seek approaches that balance economic activity with environmental protection and the long-term interests of the community.
