The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Volta Region has announced that all preparations for the upcoming regional executive elections have been completed, paving the way for a smooth and transparent electoral process.
According to the party’s regional elections committee, all logistical arrangements, including the accreditation of delegates, verification of voter registers, and distribution of election materials, have been finalized ahead of the polls scheduled for Saturday.
Party officials say the elections will be conducted across the region’s constituencies, including the newly created constituencies that will participate in the exercise for the first time. The committee has expressed confidence in the preparations and assured delegates that measures have been put in place to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful election.
The regional executive elections are expected to attract party leaders, delegates, and supporters from across the Volta Region as members elect officials who will be responsible for leading the party’s activities in the coming years.
Speaking ahead of the elections, officials encouraged delegates to conduct themselves responsibly and uphold the democratic values of the party throughout the process.
