HO, Volta Region β July 25, 2026
The Volta Tech & Innovation Summit (VTIS) 2026 is set to officially launch on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the VRCC Conference Hall in Ho, marking the beginning of preparations for one of the region’s biggest technology and innovation events.
Organizers say this year’s summit will be larger than the inaugural edition, expanding into a two-day programme designed to bring together students, entrepreneurs, innovators, industry leaders, policymakers, and technology enthusiasts from across Ghana.
Building on a Successful First Edition
The maiden edition of the Volta Tech & Innovation Summit was held in December 2025 at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in Ho. The event attracted approximately 200 participants, including about 160 students from four senior high schools in the municipality.
According to the organizers, the summit generated more than 44,000 digital engagements across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, highlighting growing interest in technology and innovation within the Volta Region.
Bigger Vision for VTIS 2026
The 2026 edition aims to host over 500 participants and will introduce several new features, including:
- Interactive technology workshops
- Mentorship and career development clinics
- Startup pitch competition
- Networking opportunities for innovators and investors
- A formal VTIS CommuniquΓ© to be presented to the Volta Regional Coordinating Council and relevant national stakeholders
The summit is being organized by Confluence, a Ghana-based organization focused on Systems Thinking and Systems Design, with the objective of creating stronger connections between education, industry, entrepreneurship, and public policy.
Official Launch Scheduled for August 5
The official launch ceremony will unveil the summit’s theme, programme, sponsorship opportunities, and registration details for participants.

The summit is expected to become one of the leading annual technology events in the Volta Region, supporting entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and youth employment.
Registration Opens August 5
Registration for the Volta Tech & Innovation Summit 2026 will officially open during the launch event. Individuals, institutions, startups, corporate organizations, and sponsors interested in participating are encouraged to register once the official portal goes live.
As preparations continue, organizers have expressed confidence that this year’s summit will further position the Volta Region as an emerging hub for technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Ghana.
